Easter at LTC

We get to spend Easter together at the Hilton Anatole because of LTC. We really had a fun time except when it was time for pictures!
This year, the hotel remodeled and the first few nights we didn't have a bathtub! I was not expecting that. So...Dad put on his swimsuit and they had a great time in the HUGE glass shower.

The hotel has a beautiful grassy courtyard that was perfect for about 3 minutes of hunting eggs. It was a great end to our weekend. Thanks Granddad and Grandma for helping us have fun at LTC!!

Big Boy Haircut

Caleb is very proud of his new do. We had to put hair glue in it to get the right effect. He is really feeling like a big boy. He thinks it is really fun to have Peyton on the floor with him and hold her hand. She might be fun to have around after all.

Family photo

Here is out first Sunday morning family photo. I can't believe that we all had smiles on our faces, since we took it at home after church and lunch. Sunday mornings are always an adventure.
We pulled out the bumbo to see how Peyton was doing and she will be ready for it very soon. Caleb was feeling like he needed to see how it was fitting on him as well.

fun-filled daze
Things are going well at the Beaver house. Peyton is sleeping well at night and has already slept two nights in her crib in her room! Yeah! Caleb continues to sleep well and always ready to go"night-night."
We all went to church together last week and enjoyed showing off the kids at the dedication service. Here are a few pics of our first Sunday.

Here is Peyton getting her head work out. Caleb found this to be very interesting and wanted to "help" by lovingly hitting her on the head. He is ready for her to play!

harder than I thought
Well, keeping up with new blog posts and 2 kids is harder than I thought. Here are some pics of our first weeks at home. After 5 seperate trips to the hospital for her Biliruben test (jaundice), her levels finally came down without having to put her in the tanning booth.
Her days and nights are still all messed up, which in turn makes our days and nights all mixed up too. But we are catching up on our shows on the DVR - so that's something, right?
We've been so blessed to have my parents (Grandma and Granddad Floyd) stay with us these first two weeks to help us get adjusted. They were smart and stayed in their 5th wheel at night.
I plan on writing more later as I get time. But I did want to share some pics with you from the last two weeks.
Caleb is real excited about Peyton's arrival so far.
Can't you tell? We like to think that he's just working on his "don't mess with my little sister" look. In that case, he's pretty good at it already.

Pretty girl! And so photogenic (SP?)!
