harder than I thought

Well, keeping up with new blog posts and 2 kids is harder than I thought. Here are some pics of our first weeks at home. After 5 seperate trips to the hospital for her Biliruben test (jaundice), her levels finally came down without having to put her in the tanning booth.
Her days and nights are still all messed up, which in turn makes our days and nights all mixed up too. But we are catching up on our shows on the DVR - so that's something, right?
We've been so blessed to have my parents (Grandma and Granddad Floyd) stay with us these first two weeks to help us get adjusted. They were smart and stayed in their 5th wheel at night.
I plan on writing more later as I get time. But I did want to share some pics with you from the last two weeks.

Caleb is real excited about Peyton's arrival so far.

Can't you tell? We like to think that he's just working on his "don't mess with my little sister" look. In that case, he's pretty good at it already.

Pretty girl! And so photogenic (SP?)!

She's so beautiful!! It's great that Caleb is already the protective big brother!

I guess I didn't realize how fortunate we were that Lane was not jaundice. It seems like all of my friends that have had a baby lately have had to deal with this. She is so cute and Caleb is going to be a good big brother.

I'm so glad you're blogging now. Your kids (wow - "kids" plural) are soooo cute, and I think that Caleb is starting to look more and more like you! Anyway, I'm glad everything is going well for y'all. We'll need to get together once everything settles down a bit.

Hi Katy!

What gorgeous kids you have! I found your blog through Julie's; thanks for sharing pics.
Motherhood suits you so well:).
